Start a Food Truck Blog!

Posted on 04/12/2022 by FTB

The rise of the digital world requires us to digitize ourselves, as people, and as businesses. You want to keep the attention of your Food Truck and your business alive on your website and social media channels. In addition to photos, you may post blogs about your Food Truck business. But where do you get inspiration for new content every time? In this blog, we'll give you some ideas for when you can't think of what to write about.

  • CAPTURE YOUR DAY

Let's start at the beginning: Make it easier on yourself by not thinking too deeply, but just recording what you do. Especially when you're just starting blogging, sometimes you can lose track of what you're doing. Is my text long enough? Is it interesting enough? Are people going to read it? Our tip is: start by committing and the rest will come naturally.

Do you feel like you have nothing interesting to say? You are wrong! With your life as a Food Trucker, you inspire others! Writing a blog about your daily business is also a perfect way to show more of yourself and build a relationship with your fans, followers, and guests.

What kind of day should it be? It doesn't matter at all! You can write about anything from your day. Here are some examples:

    • The day before
Show what preparations you make the day before you go on location with your Food Truck.
    • The day itself
From early morning to late at night: what does a day look like when you work in a Food Truck?
    • The day after
Give your fans and followers a peek into the kitchen after a full day of work. How do you make everything super cleanagain?
    • Inspiration day
What do you do when you go to a trade fair, on a city trip, or to a new supplier? How do you record things (e.g., with a camera or in a notebook), how do you prepare?
    • Business Day
Well, the administration and maintenance must also be done. And although you may not like it, it is nice to see or read about.

    CAPTURE YOUR DAY
  • TAKE PICTURES

If you want to give people a glimpse into your daily life, photos are of course a must. Let them be the thread for your blog and place a caption with an explanation for each photo. Photos give your story even more power. Take your time to shoot some nice pictures.

  • MORE IDEAS

Besides blogging about a day in the life of a Food Trucker, there are so many other things you can blog about. We give some ideas below, but know that nothing is too crazy for FoodLovers!

    • What's special about ingredients
It doesn't matter if you're making burgers, pizzas, vegan food, or grilled steaks. Consumers want to know what they are eating and where the food comes from. The preparation of the food, the method of cooking, the quality of the food, the organic farming (or maybe the vegetables come from maharishi crops), or the care is taken not to mix foods to avoid allergens.
    • The best advertisement isyou
Your audience wants to know more about your Food Truck, as well as about you. Although it's hard to understand, for some reason there are a lot of factors that help us choose certain options, especially those that directly relate to our identification. Talk about who you are, why you started a Food Truck, what kind of events you enjoy being at most, etc.And feel free to share your feelings as well. What frustrates you, what made you happy, did something make you insecure, or were you just dead set on doing something? Do not strive for the perfect picture, it is good to be vulnerable. That makes you and your story real!
    • Don't forget the staff
Besides yourself, your employees are the face of your Food Truck. You could introduce them all in a blog post and let them tell you why they love working at your Food Truck!
    • Events
Events are the perfect opportunity to write a post about a day in the life of a Food Trucker and take some great photos. You can write about how the preparation for an event differs from a normal day, how hectic an event can be, but also how much energy you as a Food Trucker get out of an event.
