By definition, a superfood is a 100% natural food (fruit-algae-seeds-roots or herbs) that contains an extremely high nutrient density in only small amounts. Special superfoods are products you are less likely to encounter, such as chia seeds, seaweed, cocoa, coconut fat, and goji berries.
