With Austin being the live music capitol of the world, Extraño Vida was created in hopes to help promote and showcase local Latinx artists, vendors, & musicians. As Austin continues to grow and develop with more tech companies & gentrification, our goal is not only to help showcase local Latinx artists, but to draw attention to how gentrification continues to harm & disenfranchise people of color, while also stripping away what culture we have left. By bringing art and activism together, Extraño Vida is committed to the fight and preservation of Latinx cultura in Austin, Texas.
